Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 13, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Routewise LLC ("Routewise," "we," "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you use our website and comparison-and-matching service (the "Service"). Routewise is a comparison and matching service and is not a lender; we do not make credit decisions.

California residents: see our California Privacy Notice and Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page. Residents of other states with privacy laws: see Section 8.

Document version: 2026-07-13

1. Information we collect

Information you provide. Through our questionnaire you may provide: your name, contact information (email, phone number, postal address), requested loan amount and purpose, self-reported credit range, income and employment details, and other information relevant to your request.

Information collected automatically. We and our service providers collect device and browser data, IP address, general location, pages viewed, and the marketing source or referrer that brought you to us, using cookies and similar technologies (Section 6).

Sensitive information. Some information you provide (such as financial details) may be considered sensitive under applicable law. We use and disclose it only to provide the Service you request.

2. How we use information

We use personal information to: understand your request and attempt to match you with participating lenders and marketplace partners; communicate with you about your request (Section 4); operate, secure, analyze, and improve the Service; detect and prevent fraud and misuse; and comply with legal obligations.

3. How we share information

With participating partners (at your direction). When you submit a request and provide the consent presented at submission, we share the information needed to evaluate your request with participating lenders and marketplace partners. Partners handle your information under their own privacy policies. See our Participating Partners page.

With service providers. Vendors that host our site, deliver messages, provide analytics, and support fraud prevention, under contracts limiting their use of the information.

For compensation ("sale"/"sharing"). Routewise may be compensated by partners when we connect you with them. Because we receive compensation in connection with disclosing your information, this activity may constitute a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under certain state laws. You can opt out — see Section 8 and our Do Not Sell or Share page.

Legal, safety, and business transfers. We may disclose information to comply with law, enforce our terms, protect rights and safety, or as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

4. Communications and how to stop them

By providing your contact information and the consent presented at submission, you agree that Routewise and the participating partners identified to you at or before the time of matching may contact you about your request by phone call, text message, and email, including through automated telephone dialing systems and artificial, prerecorded, or AI-generated voice or text technology. Your consent is not a condition of using the Service or of any purchase. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply.

You can revoke consent at any time, by any reasonable method — reply STOP (or "unsubscribe," "cancel," "end," "quit," or similar) to any text; tell a caller; use the unsubscribe link in any email; or contact us (Section 11). We process revocations within ten (10) business days. Revoking consent with Routewise does not automatically revoke consent you separately gave to a partner; contact that partner directly, or ask us and we will forward your request.

5. Data retention

We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, determined by: the time needed to service your request and any partner match; legal, tax, and regulatory record-keeping obligations; the resolution of disputes; and fraud-prevention needs. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.

6. Cookies, tracking, and interest-based advertising

We and our partners use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to operate the site, measure marketing performance, remember the source that referred you, and support advertising. Some of this activity may constitute "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under state law. You can manage cookies in your browser, and we honor recognized opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control (GPC) as an opt-out of sale/sharing for that browser. See our Do Not Sell or Share page.

7. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. See our Information Security Policy.

8. Your U.S. state privacy rights

Depending on your state of residence (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Virginia, Oregon, Montana, and others), you may have the right to: access the personal information we hold about you; correct inaccuracies; delete your personal information; obtain a portable copy; and opt out of the sale of personal information, sharing/processing for targeted advertising, and certain profiling.

To exercise any right, use the methods in Section 11. We verify requests consistent with applicable law and respond within the legally required timeframe (generally 45 days, extendable once). We do not discriminate against you for exercising a right. Appeals:if we decline your request and your state provides an appeal right, you may appeal by replying to our decision or contacting us with "Privacy Appeal" in the subject line; if your appeal is denied, you may contact your state Attorney General.

Authorized agents may submit requests on your behalf; we may require proof of authority and verification of your identity.

9. Children's privacy

The Service is intended for U.S. residents 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy and will revise the Effective date above. Material changes will be posted on this page.
